Welcome to Havre Co. By visiting havreco.com (the “Site”) or buying anything from us, you agree to the terms below. Please read them. They are written plainly because we think legalese hides more than it explains.

Who we are

Havre Co. is a small team designing and curating quiet tools for the desk. “We,” “us,” and “our” mean Havre Co. “You” means anyone using the Site or placing an order with us.

Using the Site

You may browse the Site for personal, non-commercial use. Do not copy our text, photography, or design without written permission. Do not attempt to interfere with the Site or use it for anything unlawful.

Products and pricing

We try to describe every product as accurately as we can, including materials, dimensions, and tolerances. Photographs are representative; minor variation in grain, weave, and finish is expected and, frankly, part of what makes natural materials worth choosing. Prices are shown in U.S. dollars and may change without notice. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order, including for suspected fraud or pricing errors.

Orders and payment

Placing an order is an offer to buy. We accept the offer when we send a confirmation email. Until then, we may decline for any reason. Payment is processed securely through Shopify Payments and other vetted providers. We do not store full card numbers.

Shipping and returns

Intellectual property

The Site, including all text, photography, illustrations, and source code, is owned by Havre Co. or our licensors. “Havre Co.” and the Havre Co. mark are our property. Nothing on the Site grants you a license to use them.

User submissions

If you send us feedback, ideas, photos, or reviews, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to use them in connection with Havre Co. We will not publish identifying details about you without permission.

Disclaimers

We provide the Site and our products on an “as is” basis. We do our best, but we do not warrant the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free. Our products are tools for desks and home offices, not medical devices. If you have specific ergonomic or health concerns, please consult a qualified professional.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Havre Co.’s total liability arising out of or related to your use of the Site or any order will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The version posted on the Site is the version that applies to your use of it. Material changes will be noted at the top of this page.
