A cable box milled from solid American walnut — not veneer, not MDF, not vinyl wrap. Built to sit on a desk you actually like looking at.
Most cable boxes are painted particleboard with a wood pattern printed on top. Open one and you'll see it — the inside is a different color than the outside, because nothing inside is real.
Ours is solid walnut. Same grain on the lid as on the side as on the inside wall. The lid slides back on a single milled channel, the cord ports are routed clean through the wood, and the corners are joined — not glued and stapled.
It holds a standard power strip and the cables that come with it. It sits at desk height without announcing itself.

Care
Dust with a dry cloth. Re-oil once a year with any food-safe wood oil.
Each box is cut from a different board, so grain pattern varies. Sapwood streaks and small mineral marks are characteristic of real walnut, not defects.

Every Havre Co. piece is made from materials chosen to age well - brushed aluminum, solid walnut, pressed felt, PU leather, real wood veneer. Clean with a dry or barely damp cloth. Avoid solvents, abrasive sponges, and prolonged direct sunlight. Wood will darken slightly at points of contact over time. Aluminum will develop a faint patina. Felt softens. These are not defects. They are how good materials behave when they're used.
