A coffee cup designed in two materials — high-borosilicate glass for the drink, solid walnut for the hand. The wood stays cool while the cup stays hot.
Most coffee cups are one material trying to do two jobs — ceramic that gets hot on the outside, double-wall glass that costs forty dollars to keep your hand from burning.
We solved it with wood.
The body is ribbed high-borosilicate glass — the same heat-resistant glass used in lab equipment, made to take 130°C swings without flinching. The handle is solid walnut, set into the side of the cup through two precision-cut slots. You see the coffee. You feel the wood.
Pour an espresso in and the cup glows amber. Pour a flat white in and the walnut darkens against the cream. Either way, it’s the first cup of the day you actually look at.

— Care —
Glass body is dishwasher safe. The walnut handle should be hand-washed and air-dried, then occasionally re-oiled with any food-safe wood oil to keep the grain rich.
— Fine print —
Each walnut handle is cut from a different board, so the grain pattern varies between cups. Single-wall construction — the wood handle is what keeps your hand cool, not an air gap.

Every Havre Co. piece is made from materials chosen to age well - brushed aluminum, solid walnut, pressed felt, PU leather, real wood veneer. Clean with a dry or barely damp cloth. Avoid solvents, abrasive sponges, and prolonged direct sunlight. Wood will darken slightly at points of contact over time. Aluminum will develop a faint patina. Felt softens. These are not defects. They are how good materials behave when they're used.
